Detection of a bad cell for AAA, AA, C and D size batteries only. Insert batteries in
charging slots. DO NOT PRESS RED BUTTON. When the battery is placed in the charging
slot, the "RED" LED will light up and the Battery Charger will detect the status of the battery
at that moment. If the battery is NOT suitable for charging, the LED light will switch off and
stop charging. Defective batteries are indicated if either:
a.
the LED Indicator is OFF.
b.
the LED Indicator is BLINKING.
The Charge Indicator Light(s) do not illuminate

and/or the batteries feel warm to the touch

possible solution
1.
1. Make sure the AC Adapter is plugged
into a working 120 Volt, grounded, electrical
outlet, and the Adapter Jack is plugged
tightly into the Battery Charger.
2.
2. Disconnect the Adapter Jack from the
Battery Charger. Check to make sure each
battery is inserted properly into the Battery
Compartment.
3.
The Battery is bad
This is normal and should not be cause for
concern.
