Warranty
1 year - ThinkPad EasyServ (optional Overnight Repair Option) or carry-in
The Port Replicator and Charger provide
cable management, a battery charger for an
optional second battery, a palm rest when
installed on the system, and has complete port
replication.
The Port Replicator can charge a battery
whether or not a ThinkPad is connected to it.
When the ThinkPad is attached to the Port
Replicator, it will attempt to recharge the battery
in ThinkPad first (if there is one) before
charging the battery in the Port Replicator.
Port Replicator and Charger connectors:
- Serial (RS-232, 9 pin)
- Parallel (EPP, ECP, 25 pin)
- External display (15 pin)
- Keyboard
- Mouse
- Diskette drive (26 pin)
- Game with MIDI support (15 pin)
- Audio in (3.5 mm)
- Audio out (3.5 mm)
- DC input connector
- Spare battery connector (to charge 2nd battery)
ThinkPad EasyServ : customer calls IBM HelpCenter, courier service picks up ThinkPad at
any location, IBM repairs and mails back (no shipping charges, most shipping is overnight,
3 business day average turnaround).
