Screen Timeout - Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 User Manual

Brightness
Set the default screen brightness.
1. From the (Settings) screen, tap Display
Brightness.
2. Touch and drag the slider to set the brightness or tap
Automatic brightness.
3. Tap OK to save the setting.

Screen Timeout

Set the length of delay between the last key press or screen
tap and the automatic screen timeout (dim and lock).
1. From the (Settings) screen, tap Display.
2. Tap Screen timeout and select the screen delay time.
The screen delays shutting off after inactivity for the
selected period of time.
Daydream
The Daydream setting controls what the screen displays
when the phone is docked, or while charging. You can
choose to display a Colors screen, or display photos stored
on your phone.
1. From the (Settings) screen, tap Display.
2. Tap to turn Daydream ON.
3. Tap Daydream for options:
• Colors: Tap the selector to enable or disable display of a
colorful screen.
• Flipboard: Display pictures from Flipboard. After enabling the
option, tap to choose pictures to display.
• Photo Frame: Tap the selector to enable or disable display of
pictures in a photo frame. After enabling the option, tap
choose pictures to display.
• Photo Table: Tap the selector to enable or disable display of
pictures in a photo table. After enabling the option, tap
choose pictures to display.
