Reminder Alert

When this feature is turned on, it instructs the communicator (PIC) to generate
periodic reminder alerts when there are unread personal messages in the
communicator (PIC). The communicator (PIC) does not emit reminder alerts for News/Info
messages, or messages with an alert setting of Silent. To turn the reminder alert on or off,
proceed as follows.

Reminder Alert Types
• If any audible alert is selected, the reminder alert is a chirp.
• If a vibrate alert is selected, the reminder alert is a short vibration.
• If a chirp and vibrate alert is selected, the reminder alert is a a chirp followed by a 1-
second vibration.
• If a vibrate and beep alert is selected, the reminder alert is a 2-second vibration
followed by a chirp.

Private Time

Setting Private Time

Private Time mode allows you to specify a time period during which the communicator
(PIC) receives messages and performs all functions without an audible or vibrate alert.
