Videos and TV
Connect your device to your home theatre
You can use your device with home theatre systems. With compatible home theatres,
you can enjoy HD videos with Dolby™ Digital Plus 5.1 multichannel audio for an
immersive surround sound experience.

Connect an HDMI adapter to a compatible HDMI cable (cable sold separately).

Use the cable to connect your device to your home theatre.
The home theatre needs to support the HDMI 1.3 standard and be able to pass
through video to your TV over HDMI. Your device decodes Dolby Digital Plus, and
outputs PCM audio to your home theatre.

To set the home theatre to use the respective HDMI input, see the user instructions
of your home theatre.

Play a video on your device.
The maximum supported video resolution is 1280x720 (720p), and your device does
not support files that are larger than 4 GB.
Example: An MP4 or MKV video that has the following properties:
Video: AVC 1916kbps, 24fps, High Profile Level 3.1, 3 ref. frames
