seat base
.
1
• Rotate Back Support forward to an
upright position
pressing down

firmly on top of Back Support until both
tabs are fully inserted into the openings and
the Back Support feels secure and stable
• Check to be sure no parts of the harness
straps or seat pad are trapped between
the Back Support and the seat base
To remove Back Support:
• Place Car Seat on the floor or other
firm surface.

10.2 Changing Harness Strap Adjustment

WARNING!
• To prevent injury from contact with the vehicle interior or
ejection, the harness system must be snugly adjusted
around child.
The harness system on this Car Seat has an adjuster allowing
adjustment of harness strap for a snug fit on your child.
To tighten harness strap:
1. Tighten the harness straps to snugly
adjust harness around child by pulling the
Harness Adjuster Strap at the front of the
Car Seat as shown.
2. Make sure the straps are flat and snug
against the child's shoulders and thighs.
NOTE: A snug strap should not allow any
slack. It lies in a relatively straight line
without sagging. It does not press on the
child's flesh or push the child's body into
an unnatural position.
