UsER INTERFACEs Your MS1-3D MediaServer / Client can play high quality audio or video from a networked external storage device or from its disc slot. The MS1-3D automatically selects the best display and audio resolution supported by the display and amplifier. If the amplifier supports HD Audio, the MS1-3D will automatically select HD audio for BD playback. BROWsING THE MUsIC sTORE The XiVA Music Store is presented as a stack of carousels of cards. Use the S and T keys on the remote control to move left and right through the cards on the carousel. When you find the card you want, press the O Select key to zoom in on it. It will expand to fill the screen.

MS1-3D MediaServer / MediaPlayer USER GUIDE Transferring Music to your Portable Player using iTunes The iTunes Media Player application is specifically designed to simplify the process of synchronizing your music collection with an iPod portable player. Support for other devices is limited; you should check that your portable player is compatible before using this application.
Accessing it is exactly the same as transferring media to and from your MS1-3D, as described on page 46. You’ll see a share called Digital Safe listed along with the other shares such as MusicShare and Import.
If the TV UI doesn’t appear on startup or if the Admin UI Main Menu doesn’t show the Audio and Video Libraries, then either the MS1-3D is configured as a MediaPlayer or it has not detected the XiVASafe external storage device.
