UsER INTERFACEs Your MS1HD MediaServer / Client can play high quality audio or video from a networked external storage device or from its disc slot. By combining a MediaServer with one or more Clients as shown below, you can direct different outputs to a number of channels, providing entertainment throughout your home.

Accessing it is exactly the same as transferring media to and from your MS1HD, as described on page 45. You’ll see a share called Digital Safe listed along with the other shares such as MusicShare and Import.
If the TV UI doesn’t appear on startup or if the Admin UI Main Menu doesn’t show the Audio and Video Libraries, then either the MS1HD is configured as a MediaPlayer or it has not detected the XiVASafe external storage device.
