The Torque Selector dial is indicated by the number 1 through 15; Lowest torque: position
#1. Highest torque: position #15.
For example, position #1 (low torque) is appropriate for driving screws into wood without
stripping the screw, but would not provide enough torque for drilling. Position #6 and up
(high torque) are appropriate for drilling.

Insert drill or screw bit in chuck (17) and tighten with the Chuck Sleeve.
2.
Press the Forward/Reverse Switch (15) to correct position for the current job.
Right position : drill or fasten (clockwise).
Left position : removing fasteners or freeing bits (counterclockwise).
Center: trigger Switch locked.
3.
Set the two-position Variable Speed Switch (11) for the desired speed.
4.
Set the Torque Selector to the desired position.
5.
Set the Gear Box (14) for normal drilling or hammer (impact) drilling.
The impact drill setting (indicated by a hammer symbol) is typically used for drilling
cement or other hard and brittle materials.
6.
Press (and hold) the Switch (16) to turn drill On.
