Problem

Cause/Solution
Date and time in the camera settings menu has not
been set.
The date cannot be imprinted on movies and images
captured using Take a series of pictures.
The clock battery is exhausted; all settings were
restored to their default values.
You cannot format while image lock is set.
Remove image lock.
The camera may become warm when shooting
movies for an extended period of time or when the
camera is used in a hot area; this is not a malfunction.
Depending on the settings, the camera may produce
an audible focusing sound.
