    Get Ready Using the Monitor Battery level • F: The battery has enough power remaining. • G: The battery level is low. Number of 9 9 9 2 9 m 0 s images that can be taken Maximum movie recording time Flexible buttons Press to select an item shown on the monitor.

    Get Ready Attaching the Camera Strap • Guide one hand through the camera strap and hold the camera steady with both hands. • When taking images, be careful not to cover the flash or lens with your fingers. After Attaching the Strap Do not swing the camera by the strap.

    Get Ready Inserting the Battery and Memory Card Open the cover, and insert the battery and memory card. • Look at the stickers and insert the battery and memory card the right way. Charging the Battery Connect the camera to the Charging AC Adapter and to the electrical outlet.

    A Shoot Taking Images Press the power switch to turn on the camera. 1 1 0 0 2 0 m 0 s Hold the camera steady and aim the camera so that you can see your subject in the monitor. Press the shutter-release button slightly (halfway).

If there is debris, blow it off with a blower*. 2 Make sure that the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover is firmly closed. 3 Do not open the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover underwater.
