With dryer in laundry area.

If your dryer has tape at front
corners,
remove
tape.

Open dryer and remove
the literature
and parts
packages.
If your dryer has
tape on the door, remove
tape,
In the area directly
behind
the dryer, attach
the cable
bracket
securely
to the wall stud or
concrete
wall using correct
fasteners
for your
type of wall construction.
Screws to attach
cable
bracket
have not been provided
because
of the variation
of wall surfaces.
open door and remove
the rest of the tape
from dryer drum. Remove
drying rack, if your
dryer has one. Remove
parts from the plastic
packages.
Check
that all four leveling
legs
were included.

Take a carpenter's
level and place
it
on top of the dryer, first side-to-side,
then front
to back to check
that the dryer is level.
If the
dryer is not level, adjust the legs of the dryer up
or down.
The dryer must be level to prevent
noise and to provide
good drying
performance.

If your dryer drum was
taped,
move drum
counterclockwise
to make sure
all tape was removed.
Wipe
the lnterlor of the drum

thoroughly
with a damp
cloth to
dust before
using the dryer.

Remove
the red cap from the
gas pipe.
Move dryer
into final position.

Take two of the
comer
pieces
from the
carton
and place
them on
floor in back of the dryer.

that parts are now installed.
See parts list Step 2. If there
is an extra part, go back
through
steps to see which
step was skipped.

w Firmly grasp the body of the dryer and
gently
lay it on its back on the cardboard
corners,

Connect
gas supply to dryer. Use
pipe-joint
compound
resistant to the action
of
L.P. gas for gas connecttons.
If flexible
metal
tubing
is used, be certain
there are no kinks.

With one of the legs in

Check
to make sure you have all
the tools you started
with (see Panel A).

turning the legs until you reach the diamond
mark.

understand
your new dryer.
Start dryer to remove
air from
the gas supply line. Using a full

heat cycle
(not the alr cycle),

let the dryer run for at least
timer CCL
five minutes.
If the burner
does not ignite and you can feel no heat inslde
the dryer, shut off the dryer for five mlnutes.
Check that all supply valve controls
are in the
'ON'
position and that the power
supply cord
is plugged
in. Repeat
the five minute test.

Use a brush and liauid deteraent
to
test all external
gas connections
for leakvs
Bubbles around
connections
will indicate
a
leak.
If a leak appears,
shut off gas valve
controls and tighten
connections.
Then check
connections
again.
Floor Damage
Slide dryer onto cardboard
or hardboard
betore movlng across
rloor.
Failure to do so may cause damage to floor
coverlng.

Stand the dryer up. Slide dryer onto
cardboard
or hardboard.
