5.3.1

MEDIA PLAYER

This parameter identifies the kind of media from which Megabeat One reads
songs (during PLAY phase).
The values are:
H.DISK (songs will be read from the inside hard disk);
CD ROM (songs will be read from the outside CD ROM reader).
In order to change the MEDIA PLAYER parameter:
1. enable the GLOBAL SETTINGS function (as above described);
2. position the cursor on the MEDIA PLAYER parameter;
3. press the CHANGE soft key (every time you press this soft key, the
parameter value will change: "H. DISK" - "CD ROM");
4. save the changes with the SAVE soft key, or leave without saving, with the
EXIT soft key.

PEDAL POLARITY

Megabeat One can be connected to a pedal of one of these kinds:
normally open,
normally closed.
With the pedal you can use the START/STOP commands.
If you use a normally open pedal, the PEDAL POLARITY parameter must be
set = TRIGGER+. Vice versa, by using a normally closed pedal, the PEDAL POLARITY
parameter must be set = TRIGGER-.
In order to change the PEDAL POLARITY parameter:
1. enable the GLOBAL SETUP function (as above described);
2. position the cursor on the PEDAL POLARITY parameter;
3. press the CHANGE soft key (every time you press this soft key, the
parameter value will change: "TRIGGER+" - "TRIGGER-");
4.save the changes with the SAVE soft key, or leave without saving, with the EXIT
soft key.
