1.1.2 Navigation Keys

• Power Button:
Powers the SkyCaddie
press button until the display turns on. To power off the SGX
then select "Off" with the Right Key .
• Left and Right Keys:
Selects options displayed above the key on the LCD screen.
Left and Right Key selections always override on-screen options.
• Optical Trackpad: Provides precise on-screen navigation for more accurate distances
without touching, scratching or smudging your display. The Optical Trackpad is
sensitive to touch and does not require you to press down hard on the surface to
move the on-screen cursor. Gently slide your fingertip across the pad to navigate. It
has also been designed to work with a gloved hand. You cannot select options on the
SkyCaddie
®
by pressing the Optical Trackpad. You will need to use one of the keys
above the Trackpad to make an on-screen selection.

1.1.3 Button Descriptions

• Info:
When not in Play or Demo mode, pressing the Info button displays SGX
your phone number, the serial number, software version, the version of the basic green data installed,
and the version of the SkyCaddie
During Play or Demo mode, the Info button is used to
turn the RangeVue™ feature on and off by pressing once
for ON and again for OFF. RangeVue™ is discussed later
in this guide.
Holding down the Info button during Play or Demo Mode
displays the course name, contact information, hole in
play, and the hole's par and handicap.
• Menu:
The Menu button is used to display the SkyCaddie's
Main Menu while powered on.
