Following prolonged illness I have not used my SX500 for 9 months, now it will not work giving authentication problems as th reason. How can I resolve this?

1.0 POWER ON/OFF To power on your SkyCaddie SX500, press and hold the POWER button until the display turns on. To power off, press and hold the POWER button for about three seconds and confirm the prompt on the screen of your SkyCaddie SX500.

Inserting the USB cable into the SX500 USB port correctly for charging and syncing. 1. With the SX500 lying flat on a surface, touch screen up, gently pull back the port cover located on the bottom of your SkyCaddie SX500 to gain access to the micro-USB port.
