Repeat playback
During playback, each time the Repeat (
mode is changed as follows:
REP
REP Folder
(MP3/WMA only)
REP ALL
Repeat off
REP (Repeat one track/file)
"REP" appears on the display.
The track/file being played will be played repeatedly.
REP Folder (Repeat folder) (MP3/WMA only)
"REP" blinks on the display.
All the files in the folder will be played repeatedly.
REP ALL (Repeat all)
"REP ALL" appears on the display.
All the tracks/files will be played repeatedly.
< If one of the following buttons is pressed, repeat mode will be
canceled:
STANDBY/ON, Open/Close (L), SOURCE
A-B repeat playback
This function allows repeat playback of any desired section of a track/
file.

During playback, designate the point at which repeat
playback should start by pressing the A-B button.
"A-" appears on the display.

When the point at which repeat playback should end is
reached, press the A-B button again.
"A-B" appears on the display, and the designated section will be
played back repeatedly.
< To cancel the A-B Repeat, press the A-B button or the Stop (H)
button.
< The Search button (,) can be used to fast-forward to point B
after designating point A.
< There must be more than 1 seconds between A and B.
< The starting point and the end point must be in a same track/
file. If the file/track changes after you set the starting point, the
A-B repeat playback mode will be cancelled.
Shuffle playback
During playback, press the Shuffle (
"SHUF" appears on the display and the tracks/files will be played
randomly.
< To cancel shuffle playback, press the Shuffle (
< To stop shuffle playback, press the Stop (H) button. This operation
also cancels shuffle playback.
< If the / button is pressed during shuffle playback, the next
track/file will be randomly selected and played.
< If the . button is pressed during shuffle playback, another
track/file will be randomly selected and played.
< During shuffle playback, a track/file that has completed playback
will not be played again.
