Switch to Switch (or other devices)

The DES-1008D Dual-speed Switch can be connected to another
switch or other devices (routers, bridges, etc.) via a two-pair
Category 3, 4, 5 UTP/STP straight or crossover cable. When
connecting the DES-1008D to a 10 Mbps (only) Ethernet device, a
Category 3, 4 or 5 UTP/STP cable can be used; a connection to a
10/100 dual-speed or 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet device needs to use
Category 5 or better UTP/STP.
