Please take time to read the instructions contained within, to familiarise yourself with your new RGK chair and to ensure you get maximum performance and longevity from it.
As a manufacturer of wheelchairs, RGK endeavours to supply a wide variety of wheelchairs to meet many needs of the end user. However, final selection of the type of wheelchair to be used by an individual rests solely with the user and his or her health care professional.
1.3.4. HANDLING The RGK wheelchair should be wheeled around where possible. When required to lift the RGK wheelchair, use the brace bar at the back of the frame and the leg rail as lifting points. WARNING! DO NOT lift the wheelchair by loose or detachable parts, which specifically includes the upholstery, seat rail, or the wheels.
Use this information only as a "basic" guide. 2.1. WEIGHT LIMITATION To ensure the safety of the user and others, the RGK ‘Club Sport A’ has a weight limitation of 120kg. This weight limit is confirmed next to the serial number and CE marking on the underside of the frame work.
2.6. WHEELCHAIR TIE-DOWN AND SEAT RESTRAINTS RGK recommends that wheelchair users are NOT to be transported in vehicles of any kind while seated in wheelchairs. RGK recommend that users of wheelchairs should be transferred into appropriate seating in vehicles for transportation and use be made of the original restraints made available in the vehicle.
If you are having difficulties with your wheelchair, please look at the following table before contacting your RGK dealer. If the problem is not included in this list or has not corrected the problem, then please contact your RGK dealer.
