Condition /Cause
the Cloth is not Fed smoothly
• The feed teeth are packed with lint.
• The stitchlength is too short.
• The feed teeth are not raised after "drop feed" sewing.
Loops on the seams
• The needle thread tension is too loose.
the Machine does not work
• The machine is not plugged in.
• Thread has been caught in the hook.
• The bobbin winder spindle is still in the winding position.
noisy operation
• Thread has been caught in the hook assembly area.
• Lint has built up in the hook assembly area or bobbin case.
Buttonhole is not sewn neatly
• The stitch density is not suitable for the fabric being sewn.
• Interfacing is not used when sewing on the stretch fabrics.
Layer slippage
• Foot pressure is not adjusted properly.
Buttonhole won't sew
• Pull down buttonhole lever.
• Be sure the buttonhole lever is in the back position.
Buttonhole has Gaps
• Button must be tight in foot.
• There is space in foot. Check gap.
