In this guide, we will cover some of the basics from setting up to simple usage of the HD Media Center. 1 . INSTALL HDD (OPTIO NAL) Although optional, the HD Media Center allows more features to be accessed with installation of an internal HDD (Hard Disk Drive).

2 .4 CONN ECTIN G TO A P C ( REQUIRES HDD) With a HDD installed, you can connect your HD Media Center to a computer and use it like any external USB storage. a) Make sure the player is powered on.Pls do not connect it to any other device . b) Plug in the USB data cable to the rear data port on your HD Media Center.
c) Browse the contents of the device via file manager. 3 . PO WER ON/ OFF 3 .1 POW ER ON You can turn on the unit by switching the toggle switch to the ‘ON’ position represented by the symbol “I”. After greeted by the initial boot screen, you should be promoted to the home screen after a brief moment.

To access the file management tool, simply press the ‘GREEN’ button when browsing file manager and bring up the option menu, select ‘Multiple Select’. Select files you want to manage by pressing ‘PLAY/PAUSE’ button on the remote. Once you are done, move the highlighter to the right pane of the window and press ‘GREEN’ button again to bring up the file options.

11 . UPD ATING FIRMWARE Firmware is the software running on the HD Media Center, which adds additional functions and features to the device.
