Getting to Know Your ASTRA

1...9 (Preset Stations): Press these
buttons to access 9 preset radio stations
on up to four bands (FM, FM-AS, AM,
AM-AS).
SOUND: Press this button to access
Sound settings, including equalizer,
sound and position settings.
SETTINGS: Press this button to access
audio or vehicle system settings.
LOC (Local/DX): This function uses two
radio station search levels to find strong
signals (local) and weak signals (DX).
Press this button to turn the local search
function on or off.
BC (Board Computer): Press this
button to display Board Computer
information (also known as trip
computer).
INFO: Press this button to display Audio
system information.
MAIN: Press this button to display the
main menu.
(Multifunction Knob): Turn this
knob to navigate through the menus.
Press this knob to select and change
settings.
Setting Preset Stations
Before setting your preset stations, park
the vehicle.
Note: Engaging in extended searching
for specific audio stations or songs by
using buttons and knobs — or giving
extended attention to entertainment
tasks — can lead you to look away from
the road frequently or for prolonged
periods, which may cause you to miss
seeing things on the road that you need
to see. Avoid engaging in extended
searching for specific items while driving.
To manually store preset stations:
1. Press the FM/AM button to select the
desired band.
2. Tune in the desired radio station
using the arrow (
3. Press and hold one of the 9 num-
bered buttons for approximately two
seconds to store the station.
4. Repeat the steps for each station
button.
System Menus
The infotainment system features
various types of menu pages that are
structured in levels similar to the folders
on a computer.
From the main menu, the following
menus are available:
• Audio menu
– Tuner menu (also accessed by
pressing the FM/AM button)
– CD menu (also accessed by press-
ing the CDC button)
– Sound menu (also accessed by
pressing the Sound button)
• Board Computer (also accessed by
pressing the BC button)
