Note: You must install this device driver from the CD included in your
option package. For instructions on installing the device driver, see

"Installing the device driver".

Installing the device driver
Note: To install the device driver you must have your CD-ROM drive installed
in your bay.
To install the device driver, do the following:
Note: Installing the device driver restarts your computer. Be sure to save your
work and close all programs before installing the device driver.
1. Insert the IBM Ultrabay Numeric Keypad Device Driver and User's Guide CD
into the CD-ROM drive of your computer.
2. If the CD starts automatically, follow the on-screen instructions. If the CD
does not start automatically, do the following:
a. Click Start → Run.
b. Type x:/setup.exe/, where x is the drive letter of the CD-ROM drive of
your computer.
c. Click OK.
d. Follow the on-screen instructions.
After you have verified that the device driver is correctly installed, click User's
Guide to read the online User's Guide.
Notes:
1. Print out the online User's Guide. You might need to refer to it during the
installation procedure.
2. After the device driver has been installed, some components are placed in a
folder labeled Human Interface Devices.
