UsinG The backUP baTTerY

1. When the Backup Battery is fully charged, remove from the power source
and press the POWER button. The light around the POWER button will glow
blue, indicating power is available at both the standard and mini USB ports.
2. Plug the item to be charged into one of the USB ports and switch it on
(if necessary) to charge.
3. If you need to use the MINI USB port, swing it out from the side of the
Backup Battery and plug it into the item to be charged. Turn the item on
(if necessary).
4. When the Backup Battery is on and in use, the internal battery capacity
begins to drop. As it drops, the battery light will go from green (high capacity)
to amber (low capacity) to red for 10 seconds before shutting off.
This prevents the battery from being damaged by fully draining. At this time,
turn off any items being charged and recharge the Backup Battery.
5. If the Backup Battery overheats for any reason, such as insufficient
ventilation or a high temperature environment, the unit will automatically
shut off. You may reset when it cools down (approx. 15 minutes)
by pressing the POWER button.
