Overlay Printing - Watermark
You can use the Overlay feature to:
• Incorporate your letterhead on the first page of a business letter.
• Print your logo at the bottom of each page of a set of presentation slides.
• Overlay the word "Confidential" on every page of an important document.
• Print a special cover page or trailer page for each print job.
NOTE
Overlay feature is only available for the local printer that is connected to your computer
directly. (This feature cannot be used with a client computer through the network.)
Main steps for overlay printing
1.
Create an overlay file and store as a GDI file, with (.GDI) extension.

Print a document you want to overlap an overlay file.
Maintenance and Specifications
NOTE
Some overlay files (watermarks) have been prepared in advance
(see page
48). You can simply perform the overlay printing by
selecting the prepared watermark file when printing a document
(see page
52).
