To fix a stuck standby/on button on a Teac SR-3DAB, try the following steps:

1. Unplug the unit: Disconnect it from the power point to turn it off fully, since it only goes into standby otherwise.

2. Check for physical obstruction: Inspect the standby/on button for dirt or debris and clean it gently if needed.

3. Use the remote control: If the button is unresponsive, try using the remote control to operate the power function.

4. Power cycle: Leave the unit unplugged for 1–2 hours to allow it to reset, especially if condensation or temperature change may have affected it.

If the issue continues, the button mechanism may be damaged and require repair.
