Configuring Camera Settings

To configure Camera settings:
While in Camera mode, touch
configure the following camera settings:
• Edit shortcuts: Customize your settings shortcuts. (For more
information, refer to "Editing Camera Settings Shortcuts"
on page 94.)
• Self-portrait: Touch to switch to the front-facing camera lens
and take a photo of yourself. (When this option is set to On, the
Save as flipped option is activated.)
• Flash: Choose a flash mode (Off, On, or Auto flash).
• Shooting mode: Choose an automatic shooting mode, from:
Single shot: Take a single photo.
Panorama: Touch the Camera button to take a photo, then use
the on-screen guideline to move the viewfinder and take the
next 7 shots automatically.
Share shot: Uses Wi-Fi Direct to share your pictures quickly
with your friends.
Buddy photo share: Uses face recognition of pictures in your
contacts list to send your friends or family pictures of
themselves.
Settings to
Smile shot: Touch
Take to automatically focus on the
subject's face and take the photo.
Cartoon: Gives your photo the appearance of being a cartoon.
• Effects: Apply an effect to photos. Options are: No effect, Black
and white, Sepia, or Negative.
• Scene mode: Choose an automatic scene mode from None,
Portrait, Landscape, Sports, Party/Indoor, Beach/Snow, Sunset,
Dawn, Autumn Color, Text, Candlelight, Backlight, or Night.
• Exposure value: Use the slider to set the exposure value from
-2.0 to +2.0.
• Focus mode: Choose Auto focus or Macro.
• Timer: Set a timer for how long to wait before taking a photo.
Options are: Off, 2 sec, 5 sec, and 10 sec.
• Resolution: Set a size for the image. Options are:
5M (2560x1920), w3.6M (2560x1440), 3.2M (2048x1536),
w2.4M (2048x1152), 2M (1600X1200), w1.3M (1536x864),
and 0.3M (640x480).
• White balance: Set the light source. Options are: Auto,
Daylight, Cloudy, Incandescent, or Fluorescent.
• ISO: Set camera sensitivity to light. Options are: Auto, 100,
200, or 400.
