    BATTERY USAGE BEFORE USING I BATTERY INSTALLATION As shown in the picture below, put the metal locators of the battery into the holes located in the bottom of the unit. Align the battery tabs with the slots at the bottom of the phone.

Lift the bottom of the battery and remove it. If the battery is not correctly placed in the compartment, the handset will not turn on and/or the battery may be detached during use.
