Shuts the engine off at a stop in order to maximize fuel efficiency. Idle stop
duration varies depending on certain conditions, such as climate control
operation, hybrid battery level, and outside temperature.
DECELERATE
While driving, the While at a stop,
engine is on. with the brake
pedal pressed, the
engine turns off.
Note: Auto Idle Stop only functions if you come to a stop with the shift lever in
the D or N position.
C h a r g e / A s s i s t G a u g e
Shows the status of the hybrid system.
The gauge shows you when the
hybrid motor is assisting the
engine or charging the battery.
Note: The hybrid assist may not
operate under certain
conditions.

When you take your
foot off the brake
