Scroll and select the desired Alerticon.

Note: When an Alerticon is selected, the animation is played. You can scroll
through and view the various animations before making your selection.
Press Enter.

Select Done and press Enter. The selected Alerticon is assigned to the contact,

and appear next to the contact in the contact list. The Alerticon's animation will
appear each time a banner indicates that a message is received from the
contact, or that the contact's status has changed to online.
Blocking/Unblocking an IM Contact

To block an IM contact (Windows Live Messenger)
In the IM contact list screen, select the contact to be blocked.

Press
and select Block Contact from the Options menu.

Note: Alternatively, you can select Block Contact from the Options menu in
the Chat screen.
The Block User screen is displayed, prompting you to confirm that you want to
block the contact.
Select Yes and press Enter. The contact's status is updated in the IM contact

list; the contact is blocked and is unable to send you instant messages.

To unblock an IM contact (Windows Live Messenger)
In the IM contact list screen, select the blocked contact.

Press
and select Unblock Contact from the Options menu. The Unblock

User screen is displayed, prompting you to confirm that you want to unblock
the contact.
Select Yes and press Enter. The contact's status is updated in the IM Contact

list; the contact is unblocked.

To block an IM User (ICQ):
In the IM contact list screen, select the contact to be blocked.
