The 3Com Switch 4200G 1-Port 10-Gigabit Module (XFP) 3C17666
shown above adds one XFP-based 10-Gigabit port to the rear of a
Switch 4200G system as a high-bandwidth link for connections to high
speed network backbones or other peer switches or servers. An XFP
transceiver, sold separately, is required to support the desired
connection's fiber media.
