Punch-Through
The punch-through feature allows you to control two different
devices without pressing the device keys for each one.
For example, punch-through allows you to control the TV's
volume while the remote control is in any device mode. With
punch-through on, if you press VCR and use you volume keys,
it will control the TV's volume instead of the VCR's volume.
Turning Punch-Through Off/On
If your VCR has a volume control, you might want to turn off
punch-through so you can use the VCR's volume control to
adjust the sound. To turn off punch-through, hold down SETUP
until the red light blinks twice, then press M, M and CH-. The
red light blinks four times.
Now, when you want to control the volume through your VCR,
press VCR before using the volume controls.
To turn punch-through back on, hold down SETUP until the red
light blinks twice, then press M, M, and CH-. The red light
blinks twice.
Troubleshooting

If you cannot get the One For All
Easy 2 to operate your
equipment or perform commands properly:
Try all of the codes listed for your TV or VCR in
the Set-Up Codes section to the right. Many set-up
codes may allow partial functionality, however,
only one code will operate your device correctly.
Make sure you are within 15 (4.5 m) feet of your
equipment when using your remote control.
If the red light on the remote control does not blink
when you press a key, replace the batteries with
two (2) new AAA alkaline batteries. Be sure you
match the batteries to the plus (+) and minus (-)
indications inside the battery compartment.
TV/VCR combos usually work with a VCR code
for VCR functions and power. A TV code may
also be necessary for volume control.
As a safety feature on the One For All
you must press the REC key twice.
