Removeall metalcookwarefromthe dishwasher.
Do not adddetergent.
Startthe dishwasher(useNORMALWASHcycle)andallowto run for 15to 20
minutes.The dishwasherwillnowbe in the mainwash.
Thenopenthe door andpour 2 cups(500rnl)ofwhitevinegarintothebottom
of thedishwasher.
Closethe doorand allowto completethe cycle.
If vinegarrinsedoesn'twork:Repeatas above,exceptuse 1/4cup (60ml)of citric
acidcrystalsinsteadof vinegar.(Mostdrug storescarry citricacidcrystals.If yours
doesn't,callHotpointFactoryService.)
Usinga vinegaror citricacid crystalrinsemorethantwicea month?Considera
homewatersofiener.
If vinegaror citricacidcrystalrinsedoesn'twork, the cloudinessis "etching:'

depositsin water.A specialfilterin the watersupplylineis the onlywayto correct
thisproblem.Yourwatersoftenercompanycan tellyouaboutthe filter.
Yellow film on sterlingsilverresultswhenyouwashcoppercookwarein the same
load. Silverpolishwill usuallyremovethis stain.
