Updating the Map Data
The navigation system will provide periodic notification
at startup when the preloaded maps are considered out
of date. You can purchase a DVD of updated map data
from Garmin, or ask your dealer or service center for
details.
1. Go to www.garmin.com/chrysler. Select Order Map
Updates, and then follow the Web site checkout proce-
dure.
2. After you receive your new map data DVD, follow the
instructions provided with the DVD to install the new
map data in your unit.
Current Map Data
To view your current version of Map Data:
• Touch the Settings soft-key.
• Touch the Map soft-key, then touch Info.
NOTE: There is also Map version information available
in System Settings.

to observe the instructions in this manual.
WARNINGS
To prevent injury or fire, take the following precau-
tions:
• To prevent a short circuit, never put or leave any
metallic objects (such as coins or metal tools) inside the
unit.
• Do not watch or fix your eyes on the unit's display
when you are driving for any extended period.
