Problem
Cannot edit image.
Cannot rotate image.
Images are not displayed on
TV.
Nikon Transfer 2 does not
start when camera is
connected to a computer.
Images to be printed are not

Cause/Solution
Some images cannot be edited. Images that have
already been edited may not be edited again.
There is not enough free space in the internal
memory or on the memory card.
This camera is unable to edit images captured with
other cameras.
Editing functions used for images are not available
for movies.
This camera cannot rotate images captured with
another make or model of digital camera.
Video mode or HDMI is not correctly set in the TV
settings setup menu.
The cables are connected to the HDMI micro
connector (Type D) and to the USB/audio/video
output connector simultaneously.
The memory card contains no images. Replace the
memory card. Remove the memory card to play
back images from the internal memory.
The camera is off.
The batteries are exhausted.
The USB cable is not correctly connected.
The camera is not recognized by the computer.
Confirm system requirements.
The computer is not set to start Nikon Transfer 2
automatically. For more information about Nikon
Transfer 2, refer to help information contained in
ViewNX 2.
The memory card contains no images. Replace the
memory card.
Remove the memory card to print images from the
internal memory.
