Insert the Batteries and a Memory Card Step If a memory card is inserted, images are saved on the memory card when you take images. If a memory card is not inserted, images are saved in the camera’s internal memory. 1 Open the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover.

When Inserting Batteries or a Memory Card Confirm that the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are oriented correctly. Inserting the memory card upside down or backwards could damage the camera or the memory card. Make sure that the memory card is correctly oriented. Deleting Images To delete the image currently displayed in the monitor, press the l (delete) button.
