Before removing the Audio/USB 2.0 board, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the audio/USB 2.0 board:
1.
Position the computer right-side up with the front toward you.
2.
Remove the three Phillips M2.5x3.0 screws (1) that secure the audio/USB 2.0 board to the base
enclosure.
3.
Disconnect the speaker cable (2) from the Audio/USB 2.0 board.
4.
Lift the left edge of the audio/USB 2.0 board to disconnect it from the system board and remove
the audio/USB 2.0 board (3) at an angle to the left from the base enclosure
Reverse this procedure to install the audio/USB 2.0 board.
