before the first use

• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the
stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
• Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts
with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
• Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is
indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the
device. Voltage 220V-240V 50Hz)

• Never use the mixer for longer than 1 minute continuously, after this allow
the mixer to cool down for 5 minutes.
• The blades of the slicing and chopping disk and the chopping blade are very

• Both attachments could be used by all three speed settings.

the food processor (fiG. 1)

This food processor is equipped with 2 safety switches, make sure you have
completed the following steps for a correct installation.
• Fit the detachable shaft onto the device. (step A)

• Screw the bowl over the detachable shaft on the device.(step B)
• NOTE: the bowl has to unlock the first safety switch. Keep the handle
pointed to the back and turn the bowl clockwise until you hear a click and

• Place the chopping blade in the bowl over the shaft.
• Put your ingredients into the bowl.
• Place the lid on the bowl. (step C)
• NOTE: the lid has to unlock the second safety switch. Make sure the

• Place the detachable shaft on the base, then place the bowl over the shaft
on base and turn it clockwise until you hear a click.
• Fix the slicing/shredding knife to the detachable shaft.
• Put the cover on the bowl, and turn it until you hear a click. Then put the
plug to the electric socket, turn the switch to the desired level. Put in the
food through the refill opening of the cover, and push the food down

cleaninG and maintenance

• Always remove the plug from the socket when the device will be cleaned.
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive
cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. The device in not
dishwasher proof.
• CAUTION: The components are not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher.
If exposed to heat or caustic cleaners they might become misshapen or
discoloured.
• Components that have come in contact with food can be cleaned in soapy
water.
• Allow the parts to dry thoroughly before reassembling the device.

• Tristar is not liable for damages occurred through:

o In case of normal wear of the appliance.
• By executing repairs the original warranty period of 2 years will not be
extended, nor the right to a complied new warranty. This warranty is only

directive 2011/83/EU.
• Always keep your receipt, without this receipt you can not claim any form of
warranty.
• Damage caused by not following the instruction manual will lead to avoid of

improper use or if the safety instructions are not properly executed.
• Cleaning, as mentioned in this manual, is the only necessary maintenance
