Getting a flashing red light on front panel with no sound. Changing battery in remote control was no help since I cannot turn unit on/off or change settings. Initially I was getting a random static discharge through speaker even when TV was off. Checked rear connections and manually rebooted through master on off switch, thats when I lost all sound and control. Any thoughts?

A flashing red light is not mentioned in the context for the SpeakerCraft CS3. However, the context describes a flashing blue Status LED. When the CS3 is muted using the IR remote, the blue LED slowly flashes, indicating no sound from the speakers. Pressing the MUTE button again restores sound and the LED returns to solid blue. Sound control issues can be resolved by using the remote to adjust bass and treble levels or un-muting the system.
