The TG-830 is built specifically to withstand almost anything that comes its way – from extreme heat and cold, to moisture,
dust, knocks and bumps. Its resilient body cannot fail to impress, and makes it ideal for any extreme activities – from skiing and
snowboarding to mountaineering, sailing or climbing. A 5x wide optical zoom lets you zoom in to the action or capture wide-angle
landscapes – all with the same lens. Switch on Super-resolution Zoom and you can boost that magnification to 10x without any
discernible loss of the excellent image quality. Whether stills or movies, the TruePic VI processor and backlit CMOS sensor deliver every
time. Movies are captured in different formats, e.g. 1080 Full HD 60i, Full HD 30p or 120fps high-speed HD, which you can play back in
super-slow motion. When time is tight, you can even shoot Full HD movies and full-size photos simultaneously. To share your handiwork
via the Web, just connect wirelessly to a FlashAir™ card and your smartphone. Thanks to built-in GPS and electronic compass, your
location and camera direction will be included with every shot. The TG-830 will also display more than 700,000 geographic and natural
points of interest to discover.
