Connecting the HX112

IMPORTANT: There is a minimum safe impedance so be sure to check the manu-
facturer's recommended impedance for your amplifier to avoid any damage to your
amplifier or voiding your warranty.
Connecting the HX112 to Your Amplifier (4 Ohms)
The HX112 connections are made via
either the 1/4" phone jacks or Speakon
connectors located on the rear panel
jack-plate. Be sure to set the impedance
selector switch to the 4 Ohm position.
Make your connection with unshielded
speaker cable. Connect the Amplifier
Output to the speaker Input on the
HX112's rear jackplate.
Using the EXTENSION Output (8 Ohms)
The HX112 provides a convenient

Be sure to read the section above on
impedance to insure a proper hook-up
with your amplifier. Follow these steps
below to connect two HX112 using the
Extension Output. Set the impedance
selector switches on both cabinets
to the 8 Ohm position. Connect the
Amplifier Output to the Input of the
first HX112. Now, connect the Exten-
sion Output to the Input of the second
cabinet.
