TV tuner

TV tuner of IP-BUS connection

(Function of GEX-P5750TVP)
TV tuner operations
You can use this unit to control a TV tuner, such
as the GEX-P5750TVP (sold separately).
For details concerning operation, refer to the TV
tuner's operation manual. This section provides
information on TV operations with this unit,
which differs from that described in the TV tu-
ner's operation manual.
Note
Text may not display correctly depending on the
language selected in the language settings. If
this occurs, text will display in the default lan-
guage of the TV tuner instead. For details, refer
to Selecting the system language on page 41.

1 Band key
Selecting a band.
2 Channel select key
Used to switch between preset channels.
Tuning up or down manually.

Touch and hold down for more than few sec-
onds to skip stations. Seek tuning starts as
soon as you release. Touch again to cancel
seek tuning.

Changing the screen mode.
4 BSSM key
Touch to turn BSSM on.
5 List key
Displaying the preset screen.
6 Preset channel key
Used to select a preset channel.
Switching preset channels using the buttons
1 Press c or d (TRK).
Seek tuning using the buttons
1 Press and hold c or d (TRK).

Changing the wide-screen mode
You can select a desired mode to enlarge a 4:3
picture to a 16:9 picture.
% Touch the wide key to change the wide-

screen mode.
! Full (full screen)
The 4:3 picture is enlarged in the horizontal
direction only, granting viewers a 4:3 TV pic-
ture (normal picture) without any omissions.
! Zoom (zoom)
TV tuner
The 4:3 picture is enlarged in the same pro-
portion both vertically and horizontally; ideal
for a cinema sized picture (wide screen pic-
ture).
! Normal (normal)
The 4:3 picture is displayed as is, granting
viewers no sense of disparity as the propor-
tions are the same as that of the normal pic-
ture.
Notes
! You cannot operate this function while driv-
ing.
! Remember that using the wide mode feature
of this system for commercial or public view-
ing purposes may constitute an infringement
on the author's rights protected by the Copy-
right Law.
! The image will appear coarser when viewed
in Zoom mode.
Storing and recalling stations
You can easily store up to 12 stations for each
band as presets.

Display the preset screen.
The preset screen appears in the display.

Touch and hold down one of the preset
channel keys to store the selected frequency
to the memory.
The selected TV station frequency has been
stored in the memory.

Touch the appropriate preset channel key
to select the desired station.
Storing the strongest stations
BSM (best stations memory) automatically
stores the 12 strongest stations.
Storing broadcast frequencies with BSM may re-
place broadcast frequencies you have saved
using the preset channel keys.

Display the preset screen.
The preset screen appears in the display.

Touch BSM/BSSM to turn BSM on.
The 12 strongest broadcast frequencies will be
stored under preset channel keys in order of
their signal strength.
# To cancel the storage process, touch Cancel.
