Removing the Base Cover

Procedure

1 Close the display, and turn the computer over.
2 Loosen the captive screws that secure the base cover to the palm-rest assembly.
3 Remove the screws that secure the base cover to the palm-rest assembly.

Using a plastic scribe, pry the base cover out of the bottom cover.
