5. STARTING THE ENGINE

Never run the engine in an enclosed or confined area. Exhaust
contains poisonous
carbon mDnDXide gas; exposure can cause loss of con-
sciousness and may lead to death.
1. Turn the engine switch to the ON position.
ENGINE SWITCH

Connect the female end of your power cord to the switch box and the
male end to a properly grounded 120 Volt A/C outlet. (TAS, WAS Type)
CAUTION
USE ONLY WITH GROUNDED
OUTLET AND 3-WIRE CORD.
120 VOLT A.C. ONLY.
DO NOT CRANK OVER
1 MINUTE WITHOUT
COOLING 15 MINUTES.
DO NOT USE IN RAIN

To minimize the possibility of potentially dangerous electrical shocks.
always use a 8-conductor power cord with a power rating of no less
than 15 amps.
Also, be sure that the outlet you are using is properly grounded.

Do not connect and disconnect the power cord with wet hands.

Be sure to hold the plug when disconnecting the power cord from the
electrical outlet or switch box.
