FireWire 800 (1394b) ports — Connect one FireWire 800 port to your computer with one of the included FireWire cables.
• To connect additional FireWire devices through the miniStack Classic, one FireWire 800 port must be connected from the miniStack Classic to your computer. • In order for the USB 2.0 hub ports on the miniStack Classic to function, the USB 2.0 uplink port must be connected to your computer.

To ensure that your files are protected and to prevent data loss, we strongly suggest that you keep two copies of your data: one copy on your miniStack Classic and a second copy on either your internal drive or another storage medium, such as an optical backup, or on another external storage unit.
