    Disconnect the spark plug wire, and keep the wire away from the plug to prevent starting.  Service on the blower must be performed by qualified repair personnel only. Service or maintenance performed by unqualified personnel could result in injury to the user or damage to the product.

    The Rotochoke Zip Start ™ starting. THROTTLE TRIGGER The blower can be operated at any speed between idle and full throttle. TRIGGER LOCK The trigger lock is used for easier starting. To disengage the trigger lock, simply depress the throttle trigger.

     Pull on harness straps to secure in buckle. OPERATION Mix Homelite Premium Exact Mix lubricant with gasoline according to the instructions on the package. If Premium Exact Mix lubricant is not available, use a high quality synthetic 2-cycle engine lubricant, mixed at 2.6 oz.

    STARTING ANd STOPPING See Figures  - . Starting the product differs depending on whether the engine is cold or warm. Blower should be on a flat, bare surface for starting. TO START A COLd ENGINE:  Slowly press the primer bulb seven (7) times.

OPERATING THE BLOWER See Figure .  Slip arm through harness strap and onto shoulder, then repeat for the other shoulder. Adjust the straps to a comfortable position.

    WARNING: When servicing, use only identical Homelite replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage. WARNING: Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields during power tool operation or when blowing dust.

    Problem Engine will not start. Engine starts but will not accelerate. Engine starts but will only run at high speed at half choke. Engine does not reach full speed and emits excessive smoke. Engine starts, runs, and accelerates but will not idle. TROUBLESHOOTING Possible Cause No spark.
