Indicates that the scanner is searching the fire/
police service bank.
AIR
Indicates that the scanner is searching the air
service bank.
HAM
Indicates that the scanner is searching the am-
ateur radio service bank.

Indicates the search or scan direction.
Flashes with a number (1–20) to show which

monitor memory you are listening to.
CH
Appears with digits (1–200) or
cy to show which channel the scanner is tuned
to.
