RADIO CONTROLS

The numbers below refer to the illustrations on the
inside front cover.

On-Off / Volume Knob
Used to turn the radio on or off, and to adjust
the radio's volume.
2.
LED Indicators
Indicates channel, scan, and monitor status, as
well as receipt of a selective call.

Mic Jack

LCD Display
A single digit display used for digits 0 to 9. The
display also shows a dot used to indicate radio
power Hi/Lo condition.

Up/Down keys
Used for channel scrolling.

MICROPHONE CONTROLS

Hold the microphone 2.5 to 5 cm (1-2 inches) from
your mouth, and speak clearly into it.

Push-to-talk (PTT)
Press and hold down this button to talk;
release it to listen.
