Batteries have acid that can burn
you and gas that can explode. You
can be badly hurt if you are not
careful.
Remove the 12-volt battery black
negative (−) cable from the vehicle
battery to prevent the 12-volt battery
from running down, or use a battery
trickle charger. In addition, to avoid
potential damage to the high voltage
battery, perform the following
recommended steps:
■ Store the high voltage battery with
1/2 charge or less.
■ Always store the vehicle in a place
with temperatures between −10°C
and 30°C.
■ Vehicle storage at extreme
temperatures may cause damage
to the high voltage battery.
Remember to reconnect the 12-volt
battery when ready to drive the
vehicle.

Wiper blade replacement

Wiper blades on the windscreen
To replace the windscreen wiper
blade:
1. Lift the wiper arm.
2. Press the button in the middle of
the wiper arm connector and pull
the wiper blade away from the arm
connector.
3. Remove the wiper blade.

Headlight aiming

Headlight aim has been preset and
should need no further adjustment.
When driving in countries where the
traffic drives on the opposite side of
the road, it is not necessary to adjust
the low beam.
If the vehicle is damaged in a crash,
the headlight aim may be affected. If
adjustment to the low beam is
necessary, seek the assistance of a
workshop.
