trx 125 keeps bogging from quarter to full throttle. has new jets and cleaned carb new tank and fuel lines and re lash valves. compression is 140 psi even took my buddy's carb and tank of his perfect running trx and mine does the same thing with it. if I flicked the choke for a second it would rev for awhile then go back to a bog. also this mainly happens in gear as well neutral allows me to rev up most of the time.

Several factors could cause a 1985 Honda TRX 125 to bog down from quarter to full throttle despite having new jets, a cleaned carburetor, a new tank, and fuel lines:

1. Improper Jet Sizing – Even though the jets are new, they may be incorrectly sized. If they are too large, the engine may be running too rich, causing bogging at higher throttle positions.

2. Float Level Adjustment – An incorrect float height can lead to fuel starvation or overflow, affecting engine performance under load.

3. Clogged or Faulty Fuel Petcock – If fuel flow from the tank is restricted, the engine may not receive enough fuel at higher throttle openings.

4. Air-Fuel Mixture Adjustment – The mixture screw may be incorrectly set, leading to a lean or rich condition that worsens at higher throttle positions.

5. Vacuum Leaks – Cracked intake boots or loose connections can introduce excess air, leaning out the mixture and causing bogging.

6. Dirty or Malfunctioning Air Filter – A clogged air filter restricts airflow, making the engine run too rich.

7. Weak Spark or Ignition Issues – A failing CDI, ignition coil, or spark plug could cause misfires at higher RPMs, leading to bogging.

8. Clogged Exhaust or Carbon Buildup – A restricted exhaust system can limit engine power and cause bogging when more fuel and air are needed.

9. Needle Position – If the carburetor needle is set too low, it may not provide enough fuel at mid-to-high throttle.

Checking and adjusting these components should help identify and resolve the issue.

My Honda trx die not have fire

The issue with your Honda TRX 125 not having fire (no spark) may be related to the electrical system, specifically the green wire that you mentioned. Based on the context:

1. Green Wire Behavior: The green wire bolted to the rectifier affects the reverse light. When it is not grounded, the reverse light is off, and this wire shows 12VDC along with the green wires on the ignition coil and CDI connector.

2. Potential Grounding Issue: Since green wires in Honda electrical systems are typically grounds, the presence of 12VDC on these wires suggests a grounding problem. If the ground is faulty or not properly connected, it can prevent the ignition system from functioning correctly, leading to no spark.

Suggestions:
- Check and ensure all green wires are properly grounded and that there is no corrosion or loose connection at the grounding points.
- Inspect the rectifier, ignition coil, and CDI for proper function and continuity.
- Refer to the appropriate wiring schematic or service manual to verify the connections and test components systematically.
