Before You Begin

Optional RF Adapter

If you wish to connect this camcorder to a television that does not have

audio/video input jacks you will need to use the optional RF adapter model

VM-RF86A. You cannot use the optical link function with a television that

does not have audio/video input jacks.

The RF adapter can be purchased by calling the telephone number below.

Your camcorder uses three packings as shown below to provide a water-

resistant structure.

Case

To Check the Packing

1. Open the case so the end of the bracket is positioned as shown in the

figure and pull the bracket forward to release it.

2. After checking, replace the bracket to its original position.
